Introducing Dr. Drenski: A Global Visionary Connecting Health, Technology, and International Trade

A Medical Expert with a Global Business Mindset

I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful and kind gentleman – a true medical professional and entrepreneur – Dr. Svetozar Drenski, for the first time in 2010. It took place on the beautiful island of Mauritius, where an international distributors’ meeting was hosted by the French cosmetics brand Isispharma.

On the very first day, Isispharma’s sales manager, Mrs. Celine Bussy, asked Svetozar, “Please speak to the nice new Finnish distributor who speaks English, but I don’t understand him at all.” I noticed during my week in Mauritius that Drenski was a very important spirit and deeply rooted in this large French family, speaking fluent French, English, and other languages with the other partners, who were already from 80 countries worldwide. Since then, we have been very close friends, almost like brothers, and we have met each other and our families in Bulgaria and Finland many times.

Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dr. Drenski is a distinguished medical professional who graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 1992. Specializing in dermatology and venereology at the Sofia Academy of Medical Sciences, he has operated a successful private practice since 1997.

However, Dr. Drenski’s impact extends far beyond the clinic. He has spent decades building a bridge between the healthcare sector and international business, leveraging his medical expertise to identify and develop high-value opportunities in health technology and global trade. He has held many roles, including serving as an advisor to cosmetic companies, a medical product specialist, a distributor trainer, and a distributor. He has known, for example, Isispharma and ACM cosmetic product manufacturers, their brands, and worldwide distributors for more than 20 years.

Over the past few years, Dr. Drenski has also worked extensively with CDB products, helping thousands of patients improve their conditions. Some of these patients and their experiences are described in the book “CDB in Medicine”.

A Network Spanning 40 Countries

Dr. Drenski’s most significant asset to the GPI ecosystem is his extraordinary international reach. With a professional network of business partners spanning approximately 40 countries, he acts as a strategic gatekeeper to global markets.

His role within GPI focuses on:

Strategic GTM (Go-To-Market) Execution: Utilizing long-term relationships with mainly global cosmetic and health care brands to accelerate the launch of the GPI multi-platform ecosystem in diverse regulatory environments.

Sector Synergy: combining medical and health-tech expertise with several sales channels, bidirectional B2B trading, and information technologies to create a seamless user experience across borders.

Dr. Drenski’s Regional Leadership in SE Europe and French-speaking markets: Providing GPI with deep roots in the Balkan region and far beyond, ensuring that local market nuances are accounted for in our global strategy.

Strengthening the GPI Ecosystem

Dr. Drenski joined GPI’s vision as a co-founder back in 2012, when we took the first steps toward creating the Finnish B2B trading platform Suppilog Oy. With him, we will combine the expertise of healthcare partners, such as manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, pharmacies, doctors, and hospitals, to facilitate the internationalization of their operations. His ability to visualize the parties’ needs in terms of global trade technology requirements will remain very useful.

At GPI, we believe that innovation is most powerful when guided by experience. Dr. Drenski’s dual background as a medical expert and a global business manager ensures that our platforms are not only technologically advanced but also grounded in professional trust and international excellence.

“Our goal is to create a borderless ecosystem where technology serves the needs of healthcare and trade. With Dr. Drenski’s network, we are turning that vision into a global reality.”
